FUNDING

The funding for the Alliance Community Pantry comes from four main sources:

Individual contributions
Churches
Companies
Organizations
Grants

Individual contributions– ALL money contributed is used to purchase food and is not used for overhead or other expenses. Donations of any amount are very much appreciated.

TO DONATE MONEY TO THE PANTRY:

1. Send a check made out to Alliance Community Pantry and mail it to Alliance Community Pantry at PO Box 2581, Alliance, OH 44601.

2. Use our convenient DONATE button to set up a one-time or recurring donation using Pay Pal or a credit card. See DONATE at the upper right side of this page.

There are two special categories of recognition for higher giving levels:

Pantry 365 members – these are people or organizations that give at the $1000 per year level or above.  The goal of having 20 in this category was exceeded in 2011. In 2020 we have 38 members. Thank you all so much.

Pantry Partner – this level recognizes contributions of $100 or more.

Churches A group of churches support us financially and in many cases with volunteers also. See the CHURCH tab on our Main Menu for more information.

Companies and other organizations.  Company contributions go towards purchase of food. Service Club contributions go to cover overhead costs. Contributions from members of the Board of Directors also go towards covering overhead. Having our overhead covered by these sources means that any other money given goes directly for purchasing food.
