FUNDING

Donate Money Is Easy

  1. Click our DONATE button to set up a one-time or recurring donation using Pay Pal or a credit card.
  2. Send a check made out to Alliance Community Pantry and mail it to Alliance Community Pantry at PO Box 2581, Alliance, OH 44601.

There are two special categories of recognition for higher giving levels:

Pantry 365 members – these are people or organizations that give at the $1000 per year level or above.  The goal of having 20 in this category was exceeded in 2011. In 2020 we have 38 members. Thank you all so much.

Pantry Partner – this level recognizes contributions of $100 or more.

Main Sources of Donations

The funding for the Alliance Community Pantry comes from a few main sources:

  • Individual Contributions
  • Churches
  • Companies and Organizations
  • Grants
Individual Contributions

ALL money contributed is used to purchase food and is not used for overhead or other expenses. Donations of any amount are very much appreciated.

Churches

A group of churches support us financially and in many cases with volunteers. The following churches actively support the pantry in a variety of ways: Volunteering, donating food, donating money.

Partner churches whose members support the pantry:

Company contributions go towards purchase of food. Service Club contributions go to cover overhead costs. Contributions from members of the Board of Directors also go towards covering overhead.
